25 Preppy Golf Outfits for Women

Preppy and golf grew up in the same place, which is why preppy dressing on a course never looks like a costume the way it can anywhere else. Everything in this style was originally sportswear, and putting it back on a fairway is just returning it home.

The ingredients are narrow and specific: pleated skirts, cable knits, wide stripes, tartan, argyle, a collar, and colours that are bright but never neon. Two colours per outfit is the working limit, three if one of them is white. Where old money style is about disappearing, preppy is happy to be seen, which is the main difference between this list and the old money edit. The country club list shares much of the same rail.
