2018 Cycle Against Cancer Goes Statewide

Cycle Against Cancer at Iron House Fitness in Old Saybrook

March 10, 2018

Everyone had a 'SPINTASTIC' time at the Cycle Against Cancer event at Iron House Fitness on Saturday, March 10, 2018. More than 90 spinners raised over $40,000 to help CT cancer patients and their families. The CCF Ambassador for the event, 14 year old Lana from Chester who has Leukemia, was unable to attend due to her illness but her mom came and gave a rousing speech to kickoff the morning. Thank you to the Steering Commitee who put together a great raffle and worked so hard to make this event such a success!

Cycle Against Cancer at Zen & Now Wellness Center in Niantic

CCF held another successful Cycle Against Cancer event at Zen & Now Wellness Center in Niantic on Saturday, March 24, 2018. This 'SPINTACULAR' event raised over $22,000 for CT cancer patients and their families. The CCF Ambassador for this event was 18 month old Joey from Niantic. Everyone at the event was overjoyed to see Joey dancing to the music and having a good time with his family in spite of his diagnosis. Joey's Dad, Mark, gave a wonderful speech to start off the event.  Thank you to the Steering Commitee who put together a great raffle and worked so hard to make this event such a success!

2018 Celebrity Dinner & Memorabilia Auction

Featuring: NY Yankee Legend Derek Jeter & Current Yankee Favorites: Didi Gregorius, David Robertson & Tommy Kahnle

The 31st Annual Celebrity Dinner and Memorabilia Auction was one to be remembered!  More than 1,000 guests attended this much anticipated annual event to see Derek Jeter & our other celebrity guests and to support the CCF mission: to financially assist Connecticut cancer patients and their families and fund cancer research.

Michael Kay of ESPN Radio was the Master of Ceremonies and led a great sports program interview with all the players where he brought back unforgettable baseball memories from future Hall of Famer Derek Jeter and great stories from current NY Yankees Didi Gregorius, David Robertson and Tommy Kahnle. After showing a new CCF video about thier journey and struggles, a few past CCF Grant Recipients took the stage to a standing ovation to thank everyone for supporting the Foundation.

As always, the venue was spectacular with incredible foods, desserts and beverages provided by Mohegan Sun.

2017 Enterprise Builders Golf Tournament to Benefit CCF

Lake of Isles Golf Resort at Foxwoods Casino

 The 2017 Enterprise Builders Golf Tournament was a huge success! The event was held at the Lake of Isles Golf Resort at Foxwoods Casino on a beautiful October day. Over 160 golfers participated in this event, which was held by Enterprise Builders of Newington, CT to benefit veteran cancer patients through the CT Cancer Foundation (CCF). Enterprise Builders just recently completed the construction of the new CCF administrative center in Old Saybrook, CT. From the proceeds of this golf tournament, CCF will be able to assist CT veterans battling cancer with much needed financial aid. Thank you to Enterprise Builders and to all the golfers who hit the links to help CT veteran cancer patients! We hope to see you again in 2018!
